Fictions critiques

This young Cuban exhibition curator has embarked on an international career. After studying Philology and Art History at the University of Havana, Yuneikys Villalonga has just completed her studies, with a residence at the Ludwig Forum for International Art in Aachen, followed by a number of exchanges through research grants with Denmark, Finland (Kiasma), Sweden (Moderna Museet) and Switzerland (…). She has curated a score of exhibitions and projects, held mostly in Cuba but also in Albania, the United States and the UK, and is a regular contributor to various publications. In 2005 and 2006 she gave lectures as part of the « Arte de Conducta » study programme organized in Havana by Tania Bruguera and focussing on the question of performance art and the limits of the « social » body.
